Happier than an Pachyderm under a waterfall?

It has been a while since my last written entry.  There has been so much going on.  I have been thinking through a lot these days and I am so glad that our joy is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Take heart, you who are hurting.

Be comforted, those who are troubled.

Find rest, those who are anxious.

Be bold, you who are weary.

For Christ is our Rock.

As the great hymn of yesteryear so aptly declares:

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus' Name.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
