October is “pastor appreciation month”, and I would like to say thank you to everyone who has sent me a card and thanked me. I know that we are just getting to know each other. There are several things I would like to say:
- It has been a hectic joy so far in Portland. Family, church, repentance… a hectic joy.
- I have been told that Bethany and I are still in the “honeymoon” phase. If it is anything like my real honeymoon then you are about to find out that I snore.... LOUD!

I am looking forward to this Sunday's teaching in Exodus... plagues!!!
